Wellicht iemand hier geinteresseerd in de door PON geleverde 911T targa uit 1970. Slechts enkele KM's in NL gereden en daarna naar de US verhuisd.

Unfortunately, the time has come for me to let go of a really great car. It's a 1970 911T Targa that combines originality with exceptional performace. All the numbers match. The car has 107,xxx miles. It's Tangerine/Black. Photos can be accessed by this link :
http://1970911ttarga.shutterfly.com/pictures/8 The car is nearly original, including factory paint, with the exception of a respray of the hood and bumpers. The undercarriage undercoat is original factory and has only 2 small blemishes. (See photos 98 & 99). The top has been rebuilt with original materials and seals about as well as any Targa top can.
The engine was rebuilt in Nov, 2004 with 93,152 miles. The rebuild included S pistons and cylinders, E cams, aase racing valve springs, Carrera chain tensioners, and rebuilt Weber carburetors. The work was done by Wayne Baker, a racer in San Diego. (See photos 16,17,18).
The car is offered as shown on the Certificate of Authenticity and the Dealer Build Sheet ( See photos 11,12). The rubber trimmed bumper guards were added. I will leave them on or reinstall the original chrome bumper guards. The leather steering wheel was also added. I have the original steering wheel. I also have a set (5) of Al Reed refurbished Deep Six Fuchs available separately.
The only significant negative of the car is in the battery area (see photos 68,69,70). I discovered some battery acid residue (the white fluffy stuff) so I cleaned it all out and treated the area with Por15. I just never got around to applying the Wurth texture and paint to complete the cleanup. See before and after photos.
The positives of this award winning car are obvious. Originality cannot be replaced at any cost. The factory paint is in superb condition, as it the rest of the car. The car is fully documented through the 4 owners all the way back to the dealer build sheet obtained from Pon Porsche. See photo 10 for the history of the car. I am the 4th owner. The car has never left California since its arrival from European delivery at PON PORSCHE near Amsterdam.
I have been the caretaker of this car since 2005. Since then, I have carefully maintained it, performing a complete annual service every year, including complete fluid replacements and valve adjustments. I have entered the car in many concours events winning many awards. (See photos 140,141,142,143).
Further evidence of the quality of this car is the fact that Randy Leffingwell asked to use this car in the 2nd edition of his book, PORSCHE 911 BUYER'S GUIDE. (See photos 13, 14, 15).
The price of the car is $42,500, including the five chrome wheels, original chrome bumper guards, and original steering wheel, The Fuchs are available for $3,000, the Vasek Polak license frame for $500, and the leather steering wheel for $150.
I am located near San Luis Obispo, Ca. Approximately equi-distant between Los Angles and San Francisco, California on the central coast.
