I understand that everyone has a right too his or her opinion,

but why do people feel the need to have to (bash) comment on other peoples p's without having seen the car and also have no interest in buying it or positively contributing to the thread. After all one mans trash is another mans treasure :wink:

It doesnt make for good reading, I (personally) find this spamming and hindering the sale of a members P.

Maybe this can be looked into and make it a more enjoyable section.

Het hangt imho een beetje af van de aard van het commentaar. After all, het is hier geen Marktplaats of Autotrader maar een forum. Dus mogen er wat mij betreft best kritische vragen worden gesteld of opmerkingen worden gemaakt. Maar het moet geen ongefundeerd afkraken worden, dat ben ik met je eens. My 2 pennies.

Edit: ik denk te weten op welk topic je doelt. Daar had het idd iets genuanceerder gekund. :wink:

Martin, I could not agree more, however as mentioned above, this is after all a forum, with all kinds of users.
Some are more considerate, some are not, and in most cases (in my view) the reactions are to be taken lightly.
Yes, it might put off new users and/or non frequent users, and yes sometimes it may seem like an "old chap's" club.
But this is also a positive thing about this forum, it's strong enough to selfcorrect (with a litle help of our moderators :wink: )

Ik ben het met je eens dat als iemand hier zijn auto te koop zet, er soms binnen 10 minuten allerlei stompzinnige, niet ter zake doende, overbodige vragen en opmerkingen geplaatst worden. Soms ook niet en dragen de vragen bij aan het beeld van de auto. Als het te ver gaat vegen we de hele zooi onder de advertentie. Zoals vaker gezegd, er wordt hier gemodereerd volgens eigen normen en waarden en eigen inzicht (extremen overleggen we wel) dus wat de een laat staan veegt de ander alsnog. ik vind het overigens meestal niet zo erg en vaak brengt het een glimlach op mijn gezicht.

wat je overigens wel moet meewegen is dat dit een Porscheforum is waar de meeste al een Porsche hebben. De kans dat je je auto hier verkoopt is over het algemeen kleiner dan dat je hem via Marktplaats verkoopt... :idea:

Ik vind het in het algemeen ook onbetamelijk om commentaar te geven op een te verkopen Porsche zonder dat je verder geinteresseerd in de auto bent. Maar heel soms kun je de behoefte hebben om iets van een vraagprijs te zeggen, met name als die gewoon niet sympathiek is. Hoge vraagprijzen zijn prima, maar als de aanbieder zichzelf finaal uit de markt prijst, mag hij daar wel op worden gewezen, met name als de foto's ook niet overtuigend zijn.

Een goede Porsche verkoopt uiteindelijk zichzelf wel (voor een reele prijs), en van reacties op een forum heb je als verkoper niet zo veel te vrezen.

Verder geheel eens met horn :thumleft:

There are plenty of other topics to Rant,bash,laugh,cry and moan in! there is a right time and place for everything and the content of a topic should reflect its purpose.

Well, if I didn't want any comments as a seller I'd advertise on a specialised site (marktplaats, speurders etc.). As a potential buyer, I'd appreciate the comments here because those are the comments you can expect when you show your new acquisition to the 'experts'. If it's too expensive, modified or otherwise flawed I'd like to know that beforehand... before shelling out for a pre-purchase inspection, preferably.

I agree that some comments are somewhat harsh at times but if the car's nice and the asking price is OK, that's what the comments will say.

And 'you gets what you pays for'. Advertising here is free, you get a very focused target group so you'll have to take the good with the bad.

The 'Porsche police' will eventually determine what your car will sell for when the time comes, and when someone makes an incorrect comment here he's generally corrected quickly. Unless you'll find another uninformed soul who just wants the car.
Modified Porsches are not everyone's cup of tea, it's better as a prospective owner to realise that... because that's what you'll get to hear when you're selling.

As I said, when the selling proposition's OK the comments will reflect that. Fair enough, IMO.

Of misschien op het forum een plekje reserveren waar men tegen het overmaken van €10 of elk ander bedrag een advertentie kan plaatsen en wel zo dat je daar niet op kunt reageren.

Ik vind de opmerkingen over het algemeen ook niet ter zake doende c.q. opbouwend op de geplaatste advertentie.

The more comments, the more your car is in the picture! When someone is really interested he/she is not avoided by the comments but will send you a PB.

So, do not cry about it, but be glad that someone says something about the advertisement.

Mine 2 pen, but if i put an ad, I dont want any comments, but only peeps who are intrested. Not the sorry blooks who only have comments with no knowledge of porsche, and think that they have the best porsche on the block.

I do think you have a point, but a point for discussion. I do not think (although we thought about it) to make ads sticky's or something where people cannot react. Why not? As said above - we have marktplaats and ebay for that...
