Now that CLM is fastly becoming a distant memory it's time to start thinking about the next event with the Silverstone Classic only a few days away and news on an exciting (and free to enter) Porsche event at Goodwood in August.
FREE Classic Porsche Event runs alongside vintage festival at Goodwood
On August 14th 2010 Autorevival are building the track day experience into a social day where visitor participation in various events should keep family and friends as excited as car enthusiasts.
The day revolves around a very rare opportunity for pre 1974 Porsche drivers to take to the track in the exclusive company of 356, 911, 912 & 914 cars.
• Racing driver Nick Fauer will offer fast laps & tuition.
• Porsche cars and other exotica are invited to show in designated paddocks for classic and modern cars, bring yours along to “show” as well as take part in parade laps.
• Children (over 4ft 10”) have a chance to drive a mini around the circuit at lunchtime and there’s Go Karting for all ages.
• Internationally renowned classic Porsche specialists along with other trade stands will display along with the Wacky Races cars and a demonstration of car wrapping.
• Free transport between trackday and Vintage@Goodwood, a huge festival of all things retro .........
• 40 track slots are available from £140. Free entry to all other visitors plus 25% discounted entry to Vintage @ Goodwood.
