Hello,
my name is Dirk and my wife and me live in the Niederrhein area, quite close to the dutch border.
I'm currently with a global german IT company, responsible for our customers in the dutch market.
My wife and me fell in love with Porsche more than 10 years ago when, after various cabriolets from other brands,
we got our first 986 Boxster S. This was soon followed by a 987 S and than, just two years later, exchanged
with a 997 S Cabriolet. In the last two years we "extended" our collection with a 993 Carrera Cabriolet and
even with a 356 Vintage Speedster replica.
There is no greater joy to us than riding one of these on the lovely streets at the Niederrhein, on both sides of
the border.
Roughly one year ago we started our own community of Porsche Enthusiasts, the PORSCHEFREUNDE NIEDERRHEIN
and meanwhile we grew up to somewhat 70 Porschefreunde, all from the Niederrhein Area, which join uns on a monthly
dinner and many other activities.
As we are located that close to The Netherlands we would be very happy and honoured to welcome new dutch friends
joining in.
