On the occasion of the 50th Speedster anniversary Event, Steve Heinrichs showed his fabulous collection of speedsters.
This collection includes
* the Prototype Porsche Speedster (Chassis 12223)
* the hand-built pre-series Speedsters (Chassis 80002, 80003 and 80004).
Besides being one of the pre-series Speedsters, 80002 is the first speedster ever raced.
It was raced by Erich Buecklers at Torrey Pines, California.
* The first Porsche Carrera Speedster (Chassis 80665)
* The one and only Porsche Carrera RS Speedster (Chassis 80820), which is also the first Carrera Speedster to be raced.
2 other owners decided to put one of their treasures in this collection too
* The one and only Porsche Speedster "D" (Chassis 85501)
* A 1952 Porsche American Roadster (Chassis 12317) with only 9775 miles since new.
I have some pictures of the 6 Speedsters and the Speedster "D" as they were presented on the 50th anniversary event. You can see that back then the Speedster "D" wasn't restored yet. Nowadays it is complete restored as new !!
