Hi guys! I am trying to find a good reliable place to install a class 4 alarm system. I have a Boxster S and the insurance company is asking for this.
I have a question. The car comes with an alarm, is that class 3? If anyone knows of a good place (fair low price is desirable). I'd really appreciate your advise!

Depends on the age of the car (I think). Try another insurance-comp.

Try Turien & Co for the insurance ... or PB (PM) Jos Targa ..
.. and tell us where you're located - so we can advice some alarm specialist near you

Amsterdam It is 4 year old... almost. Yeah, I was reading the manual, there is nothing about what alarm class is the alarm that comes installed from the factory. Good idea, a friend of mine has a similar (year/value/model) car and he was not requested an alarm class 4. Will give it a try in a different insurance company.. however still would like to have an alarm installed. Class 3 enough for me. I like it when you leave the car open, windows down and after some minutes the windows close as well as the locks. Back in the US I use to install viper. nice alarm systems.

Verzekering gaat vaak ook akkoord met "conform SCM Klasse" een briefje van 'n inbouwstation dat SCM goedkeur heeft is dan vaak voldoende

Beetje voorzichtig met de tips als je t mij vraagt.
met het geven van een scm gecertificeerd inbouw center komt hij niet echt verder als zijn doel is om het alarmsysteem eruit te halen. je kan ook te wantrouwend zijn.
