PCM navi

Ik ben in het bezit van een Boxster S 987 van 2005. Nu heb ik laatst mijn alcantara stoelen vervangen door een fraaie leerset. So far, so good. Heb daarbij de accu losgemaakt ivm zijairbags. Maar, nu blijft de navi dood. Op het display staat navi met 4 streepjes er onder. Ik heb ruim een kwartier gereden (staat in instructieboekje dat het tot 15 min. kan duren), maar geen aktie. weer eens de accu 10-15 min. eraf en erop, geen verschil. Wat doe ik fout ? Is er toch een code ? Graag hulp.

Lijkt mij dat je een beveiligingscode moet invullen na iedere stroomonderbreking. Is niets ongewoons. Heb je die code nergens vermeld staan?

Dank voor je reactie. Ik zie in het PCM boekje niets over een code. De oudere 996 had dat bijv. wel. Ook kan ik een ev code ook niet in het omvangrijke papierwerkvinden. En stel dat er een code is hoe krijg ik dat ingevoerd op het display want niets werkt.

Misschien nog ter verduidelijking: de tekst Navi verschijnt op het centrale display en niet op het Navi-scherm want dat doet niets.

Volgens de Porsche dealer is de PCM overleden. Iemand nog een apparaat liggen ?

Ik ga er vanuit dat de Porsche dealer kennis van zaken heeft en dus gelijk heeft dat de PCM is overleden (ook aangezien er geen code ingegeven kan worden).

Mocht iemand toevallig zo'n soortgelijk probleem hebben, dit zegt de service manual erover;

Radio

The radio reverts to the Code function when the battery is disconnected and is thus no longer ready for operation.

Remedy

Input the radio code. If the code card is unavailable the radio code can be read from the DME control module (under "Vehicle data").
This code is also available from the Porsche IPAS.

PCM

-The PCM reverts to the Code function when the battery is disconnected and is thus no longer ready for operation.

When the power supply is disconnected, the built-in GPS receiver loses the so-called almanac containing the satellite orbital paths.

The date and time are no longer shown on the display after the power supply is disconnected.

If the telephone card was inserted and the telephone was ready for operation, the telephone is subsequently disabled.

Remedy

Input the PCM code. If the code card is unavailable, the PCM code can also be read from the DME control module (under "Vehicle data"). This code is also available from the Porsche IPAS.

Switch on the PCM with a free panoramic view for approx. 20 minutes (to load GPS almanac).

The date and time are also adopted once the GPS almanac has been loaded; it may be necessary to change over to summer time
(daylight-savingtime). This time is transferred to the instrument cluster. If the time is then manually changed by means of the instrument cluster, this time is adopted by the PCM and synchronised with GPS time.

The stored stations are displayed again PCM when station buttons 1 to 6 are pressed.

The telephone is enabled again when the telephone PIN code is entered with the SIM telephone card inserted.
