Ik meen gelezen te hebben dat 998 intern al in gebruik is, maar er doen inmiddels vele verhalen de ronde. Ben ook benieuwd want 991 ligt niet echt voor de hand

Wat Paul II zegt. Waarom was 964 zo voor de hand liggend dan? of 993? En volgens mij heet ie gewoon officieel "911" en niet "991".

Bij andere merken is het hetzelfde. Van E39 naar E60 en vervolgens naar F10. Hoe verzínnen ze het bij BMW, is toch helemaal niet logisch?

Ik vind het wel wat hebben, die (schijnbaar) grillige nummers achter het algemeen bekende "merk".

Grappig: soms raken mensen in verwarring als je onbewust de interne nummers gebruikt bij mensen die minder bekend zijn met Porsche. :)

Jaren geleden had ik hier een lijstje uit de 911 & Porscheworld geplaatst. Ondertussen zijn bovenstaande lijsten alweer veeeeeeeeeel completer.

Maar logica tussen interne nummers is vaak ver te zoeken.

Hoezo? Ik vond juist van wel :arrow: van laag E naar hoger E en dan naar F laag. Denk dat na F hoog misschien G laag gepakt wordt. Minder onlogisch dan wat ik bij Porsche aanschouw.

wellicht dat er interne projecten zijn die wij niet kennen, waarvoor de interne auftragsnummer gebruikt zijn. Zo wordt in de praktijk een 964 turbo nogal eens 965 genoemd, terwijl 965 intern nooit als projectnummer voor de (uiteindelijke!) 964 turbo is gebruikt. Las ik ooit ergens anders.
